WHO I AM
My journey to landscape architecture has been a long and winding one. Before this, I spent 20 years in product and service design, advertising, and brand consultancy, mostly in the US. I understand the business of creativity: how to collaborate across disciplines, build strong teams, and develop clear narratives and strategic frameworks. I know how to spot a big idea—and how to make sure the work lives up to it, from big picture to fine grain.
Now, my mission is to use these skills to create more resilient and restorative landscapes, public spaces, and neighbourhoods in which people and nature can thrive long into the future.

HOW I WORK
Delight in the details
People live in places, not plans so sweat the specifics, even when thinking large scale. Make material choices—hard and soft, blue, green, and grey—that are resilient, responsible and resonant.
Write new chapters for old stories
The places we design are part of a continuity. We have a duty to reach back and build upon what has come before so that we can face the future with confidence, knowing that they should and will outlast us
Let the land lead
Nature won’t tell us what to do, but if we ask the right questions and pay attention, the natural world will both challenge and guide us in how to design boldly, empathetically, and sustainably.
